Maintenance and care of slipper molds are essential to ensure the service life of the mold and product quality. Here are some suggestions:

1. **Mold Maintenance Before Production**:

- Clean the oil stains and rust on the mold surface.
- Check if there are foreign objects or waterways are blocked in the mold cooling holes.
- Inspect whether the arc in the sprue sleeve is damaged and whether there are residual foreign objects.
- Tighten the screws and clamping clamps that fix the mold template.
- After mounting on the injection molding machine, perform idle mold operation to check whether each part operates flexibly and whether there are any abnormalities.

2. **Mold Maintenance During Production**:

- Maintain normal mold temperature to avoid sudden cooling and heating.
- Check the guide parts of the mold for damage every day, clean and oil them regularly.
- Ensure that the cavity is cleaned before each locking, without residual products or foreign objects.
- For special requirements of the cavity surface, gently wipe with compressed air or high-grade paper towels.
- Regularly clean foreign objects such as plastic filaments and oil substances from the parting surface and exhaust slot.
- Check whether the mold's waterway is unobstructed and tighten all fastening screws.

3. **Mold Maintenance During Machine Shutdown**:

- Close the mold temporarily to prevent the cavity and core from being exposed.
- Apply anti-rust oil or release agent to the cavity and core surfaces when shutting down for a long time.
- Remove the water from the cooling water channel and apply a layer of anti-rust oil.
- Check the working status of the control components to ensure the normal operation of the auxiliary system.
- Record the usage status of the mold in detail when handing over shifts.

4. **Mold Storage**:

- Establish a mold warehouse, manage by designated personnel, and establish a mold file.
- Choose a place with low humidity and good ventilation for the mold warehouse, with a temperature below 70%.
- Store the mold on the shelf, pay attention to corrosion protection and dust prevention.
